Care reminders
- Thrush is a common yeast infection that leaves white patches inside a baby's mouth. It is usually mild, and a prescription anti-yeast medicine clears it within days.
- Give the anti-yeast medicine 4 times a day with no feeding for 30 minutes after, for at least 7 days and until the patches have been gone for 3 days.
- Fewer wet diapers, a very dry mouth, mouth bleeding or a baby who seems unwell needs a doctor promptly.
