About Pedemy
About Pedemy Pediatric Academy
Pedemy (Pediatrics + academy) is a free learning site for children’s medicine. It brings together pediatric flashcards with spaced repetition, board-style practice questions, and guideline-based clinical tools for doctors, students and parents.
What you’ll find
Flashcards. 5,783 pediatric flashcards across every subject — from neonatology and cardiology to infectious disease — built around clear decision trees and scheduled with spaced repetition so you remember more.
Practice questions. Board-style questions shown after a flashcard’s answer, with an explanation for every option.
Clinical tools. 57 step-by-step pathways and calculators with weight-based doses, from sepsis, DKA and status epilepticus to bilirubin, blood pressure and vaccine catch-up. Browse the tools.
Tools for parents. Plain-language tools for fever medicine doses, formula, growth, milestones, sleep, car seats, vaccines and more. See the parent tools.
How the content is made
Every clinical tool is built from published guidelines and clinical reports — for example from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), CDC, WHO, IDSA, ISPAD, PECARN and AHA — and cites its sources at the bottom of the page. Tools are checked against the latest version of each guideline and updated when guidance changes. Doses are given in mg/kg with maximums, and the result explains the next step, not just a number.
Free, private and independent
Everything on Pedemy is free — no payments and no ads. Nothing you type into a tool leaves your device. Pedemy is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the AAP, CDC or any other organization whose guidance it cites.
Pedemy is for education and decision support. It does not replace clinical judgment, local protocols or advice from your child’s doctor.
